On
Thursday December1, 2005, the College of
Internet Distance Education of Assumption
University and Samart Telecoms jointly
launched AU-PLUS eLearning software at
Four Seasons Hotel in Bangkok.
Samart
Telecoms has prepared the AU-Plus which is a Learning
Management Software (LMS) that manages the online learning
of students and contents for various subjects. College
of Internet Distance Education provides the contents
for various subjects through Assumption University’s
lecturers.

On
Wednesday October 19, 2005 Professor Dr. Srisakdi Charmonman,
the Chairman and CEO of the College of Internet Distance
Education (CIDE) of Assumption University, signed a
memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the President
of Samart Telecoms Public Company, Mr. Thavatchai Vilailuck,
to cooporate in the areas of LMS (Learning Management
System) development and courseware production for M.Sc.
in Management. Assumption University will be offering
eLearning courses starting January 2006.

On
Wednesday October 19 a memorandum of understanding
(MOU) was signed between the College of Internet
Distance Education of Assumption University
and Digital Asia School of Animation (DASA).
Professor Dr. Srisakdi Charmonman the CEO of
the College of Internet Distance Education and
Asst. Prof Yuen Paraken director of DASA signed
the MOU. There will be cooperation between two
institutions in preparing training courses in
areas of graphics, animation, and computer games.
